Happy New Year!
Welcome to our first official podcast from our closets. Jenn and I are recording remotely in our homes, and I’ve found that sitting in the closet is the most private and quietest place. We are going to be in here until the pandemic restrictions lift. It isn’t optimal, but it is what it is for now.
We recorded on New Year’s Eve and had three guests. We ended up splitting the recording up into two podcasts. Amanda from an earlier podcast and her sister, Lucy, join us in the first one.
During the podcast, we talk about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. It is a huge, swirling gyre of garbage in the Pacific ocean. I couldn’t remember what it was called and promised to post a link explaining it. Lucy swears that the garbage that washes up on Vancouver Island comes from the United States. I was suggesting that it could come from almost anywhere that has a Pacific coast. I’m no expert, but I can at least look up something on Wikipedia.
I hope you enjoy this podcast, I should have our second half with Brent Seetaram out in a couple of days.
