My name is David, and I have been drinking for over thirty years. I got drunk for the first time when I was fourteen. I passed out in a snowbank and froze my ear. It still hangs lower than my other one but that night awoke the spirit inside me.

I enjoy the beverage part of “food and beverage” so much that I made it my career. I’ve spent the last 30 years working in restaurants and then hotels. I live in fear that the industry will find out about this podcast and tarnish my career. I have already said too much.

Out of a desire to re-connect with people, I created the Loose and Conversational Podcast. Sober people talking is boring and lame, so we don’t do it. I’ve always had a knack for getting people to open up so I figured, “why not get them to do it on the Internet for lulz?”

People almost always disagree with whatever I say, and I’m not smart enough to learn to be quiet. It makes for good conversation and an entertaining podcast. Please don’t take anything I say too seriously, I will often say things that I know are faecetious to spice up the conversation. As friend of the podcast Kylie like to say, 90% of what I say isn’t true. That is probably an exaggeration but not by much.
